Bridge 5A, Lower Bridge - Hanley Park

As part of the Hanley Park restoration project, works are required to remove the existing towpath boundary wall through Hanley park either side of Bridge 5A to open up the view through the park and to aid in the prevention of known anti-social gathering/behaviour in this particular area.

In order to undertake the work, the contractors will require waterborne craft within the navigation to safely delivery materials and plant to the work site. This will mean the navigation will be restricted to single lane only throughout the works.

Banksmen will be present throughout to assist where required.
