Revised dates due to contractor issues on the project

Hale Wharf Bridge Contractor to install 2 New Bridges, north of Tottenham Lock. To connect the new development up to the Tottenham community.

The Towpath will need to be closed to facilitate these works and floating walkway installed within navigation to divert pedestrians onto.

Lifting in of the main bridge sections over the Lee Navigation is planned between 6 - 8 April 2020 which will require approximately 4 x 30 minute restrictions of
the navigation/towpath over this period

Lifting in of the main bridge over the Lee Navigation is planned during December 2019, which will require approximately 6 no. 30 minute restrictions of the navigation over a five day period.

Exact dates for this will follow when confirmed by Contractor.

Description

Hale Wharf Bridge Contractor will be installing 2 New Bridges, north of Tottenham Lock, to connect the new development up to the Tottenham community.

The Towpath will need to be closed from Br 24 extending 500m North, to facilitate these works a floating walkway will be installed within the navigation to divert pedestrians onto.

125m of mooring will be suspended North of Br 24.

Lifting in of the main bridge over the Lee Navigation will be planned during August-September 2019 and may cause delays of up to 30 minutes during a 5 day period. Exact dates for this will follow when confirmed by the Contractor.
