Description

Please be advised that the buoys at Carrington Road Bridge are no longer in position. We are currently working on a resolution and hope to have them back in place as soon as possible.

In the meantime please be vigilant for the missing buoys and avoid the shallows. When navigating this area, please ensure you follow the below guidance:

When travelling North (upstream) between the top of the SMYC pontoon and the A4440 Road Bridge, boats should keep left of the centre of the River to stay in the deep water channel.

When travelling South (downstream) between A4440 Road Bridge and the top of the SMYC pontoon, boats should keep right of the centre of the River to stay in the deep water channel.

For further information or advice, please contact the Gloucester Dock Office on 01452 318012 or at enquiries.southwalessevern@canalrivertrust.org.uk.

Thank you.
