Description
FM Conway in partnership with Westminster City Council are undertaking planned preventative maintenance of Bridge 3C, Westbourne Terrace Road Bridge, in Little Venice.
The bird netting currently installed on the underside of Westbourne Terrace Road Bridge, is deteriorating and therefore due to be removed and replaced.
A floating pontoon will be placed within the canal and positioned below the bridge to replace the netting. In order to minimise disruption to boat traffic, the scaffold shall be erected/dismantled between the hours of 1900-0500. During which time the navigation will be temporarily restricted.
Scaffolding will also need to be placed on the towpath, which will remain open.
Please observe local signage and follow instructions from banksmen who will be on site to move pontoons and clear the navigation in the event that passing boaters approach the works.
