Please be advised that on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal some of our busy road bridges are closed to boat traffic during peak times to allow flow of road traffic and in accordance with agreed protocols with Gloucestershire County Council.
Llanthony and Fretherne Bridge are closed to boat traffic from 08:20 to 09:00 Monday to Friday during school term times.
High Orchard Bridge and Netheridge Bridge are closed to boat traffic from 08:30 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday during school term times. If you require passage through either High Orchard or Netheridge Bridge, please call Gloucester Lock on 01452 310832 24-hours prior to your departure.
