Bridge 1C

J Murphy & Sons working on behalf of Network Rail will be carrying out coring works to the abutments and central pier of the bridge to ascertain its construction. This is to assist in the design of a replacement bridge deck. Offside navigational channel closed during the works (the main, towpath side channel is unlikely to be affected). Please slow down when approaching the bridges and be prepared to stop whilst contractors move out of the way. Delays may occur but will be less than 20 minutes.  Marshalls will be present on the towpath to manage navigation and towpath traffic, and to stop the works to allow users to pass.
