The repairs at Lock 13 included the replacement of the top gate, replacement of the worn cills and other repairs.
When the existing cills were removed, it was found the sub-cills were also in very poor condition and required replacement. This has delayed the completion of the stoppage and an extension of 5 days is required until midday on Wednesday 27th February. However, please be aware we have also decided to delay the start of the next stoppage in this area (Bridge 23, Long Butts Drawbridge) until Friday 1st March in order to provide a window of 1.5 days when the navigation will be opened for boaters. The stoppage notice for Bridge 23 will also be updated to show the new dates.
