Boughton Road Bridge 59 to Masters Bridge 58, Rugby, North Oxford Canal

The revised works programme has overrun due to contractors being delayed on an adjoining nearby worksite.

We will endeavour to carry out works causing minimum delays and keeping the site clear of contractor craft at evenings and weekends, in order to assist to those people travelling onwards to Crick Boat Show. 

Additional suitable mooring can be found beyond Bridge 59 (Boughton Road).

The works are to install new mooring points and associated signage.

Towpath use and mooring use along this section will remain open, but will be restricted in isolated areas as the works proceed along the canal. This is due to the works being undertaken by workboat.

The original works have had to start later than we had originally planned, so this will result in any possible delays occurring until later into the year.
