Pratts Mill Aqueduct is a Grade II listed two span aqueduct carrying, the Wyrley & Essington Canal and towpath over the twin track Walsall to Bloxwich railway line.

Network Rail requesting stoppage following further inspections to the aqueduct and the increased leakage to the asset. Defects included water leakage through the deck and abutments, deterioration of the masonry elements and corrosion damage to the superstructure. The parapets are also not to the right standards therefore they are to be upgraded.  The purpose of the scheme is to repair and refurbish the Aqueduct (Pratt’s Mill) by installing a waterproofing system
