Overhead line replacement Elland Wood Viaduct

Contractors (Babcock International Group) are carrying out replacement of the overhead lines which cross the canal.   Whilst there won’t be any restriction in the watercourse cables will be dismantled and erected above the watercourse.

All boat traffic should slow down when approaching and  passing the bridge and be prepared to stop if requested,  this may result in delays of no longer than 15-20 minutes.
