Please be advised that going forward this arrangement is now permanent - following a successful trial period - the hours of operation/closure will be as follows:
Please be advised that on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal some of our busy road bridges are closed to boat traffic during peak times to allow flow of road traffic and in accordance with agreed protocols with Gloucestershire County Council.
Llanthony Bridge will be closed to boat traffic between 8.30am and 9am during school term times.
Gloucester Lock will be closed for boat traffic from 8.20 to 9.00am and 16.30 to 17.30 during school term times.

Please be advised that on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal some of our busy road bridges are closed to boat traffic during peak times to allow flow of road traffic and in accordance with agreed protocols with Gloucestershire County Council.
The following changes will apply from the 1st September 2017.- for a trial period of one month
Llanthony Bridge will be closed to boat traffic between 8.30am and 9am during school term times.
Gloucester Lock will be closed for boat traffic from 8.20 to 9.00am and 16.30 to 17.30 during school term times.
