Whilst works will continue to the bridge damage the navigation has now reopen fully to boat traffic.
Description
Due to an incident with a vehicle on the evening of the 30th June 2015 Tilstock Park Lift Bridge has been closed for safety reasons until a full inspection and possible repairs can be completed by the owners of the structure Shropshire County Council. Their engineers are on site at the present time and on completion of their assessment we will be able to provide a further update by close of play today 1st July 2015.
The navigation will remain closed until we have confirmation the bridge has been made safe.
