Navigation continues to be restricted to wide-beams but narrowboats will be able to use the other lock gate to navigate through the lock in the meantime.

Our suppliers are fabricating a replacement steel heel following an engineers visit.

Navigation is restricted to wide-beams but narrowboats will be able to use the other lock gate to navigate through the lock in the meantime.

We hope to be in a position to undertake heel repair works at Lock 32 towards the end of July.

15/07/2020 15:29

We have made failed gate safe but this will only allow  navigation for narrow boats & not wide beam vessels

We are currently unable to offer booked passage for widebeams until a temporary fix can be made.

Description
