Dutton, Saltersford, Hunts and Vale Royal Locks, Weaver Navigation

Please be advised, for the safety of our customers, Trust staff and volunteers, from Monday 19 October, the Weaver Locks will no longer be in operation after 5pm, due to reduced day light hours.

Please see the revised daily operating times, in effect until Sunday 1 November:

From Monday 2 November through till March 2021, the four main locks on the Weaver Navigation: Vale Royal, Hunts, Saltersford and Dutton Locks are available for passage by prior arrangement only.

Passages must be booked 48 hours in advance and are available to book Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm only. No weekend passages available.

Please note, the locks close for bookings at 4pm on Thursday 24 December and will open again on Monday 4 January 2021.

We are now in a position to review our Operating Times for the Weaver Navigation. Listening to the feedback from our customers, please see the revised operating times for the Dutton, Saltersford, Hunts and Vale Royal Locks on the Weaver Navigation, commencing from Saturday, 18 July.

Dutton, Saltersford, Hunts and Vale Royal Locks will be open for passage on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday weekly at the below times:
