A leak and a hole have developed in the towpath between Locks 28E and 29E on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The water level has been lowered to stop the leak and to enable repairs. Canal & River Trust staff are on site assessing the situation and will complete repairs as soon as possible.
Until repairs have been completed the towpath and canal between locks 28 East and 29 East will remain closed.
Description
A leak and a hole have developed in the towpath between Locks 28E and 29E on the Huddersfield Broad Canal. The water level has been lowered to stop the leak and to enable repairs. Canal & River Trust staff are on site assessing the situation and will complete repairs as soon as possible.
