Our teams have been able to carry out the repairs to Lock 2 and the flight will be open at 4pm today (6.6.19)

Our team have completed their investigations at Lock 2 to find that the cill has lifted.
Our teams will need to arrange for drainage of the pound to carry out refitting of the cill.
The flight will remain closed whilst we carry out the repair.
We will provide an update on Friday morning.
Description
Our team will be investigating a problem with the paddle at lock 2 which is not sealing and causing loss of water on the Bosley flight.
Boats travelling down will be asked to wait above Lock 1, boats travelling up can make their way from Lock 12 and wait below Lock 2.
An update will be issued tomorrow morning once our team have carried out their investigations.
