Change Bridge to Bridge 64, Manchester Road Bridge

Third party contractors will carry out work on behalf of Barratt Homes to reduce an existing unsafe boundary wall down to the coping stones and inset a parapet railing within the grass verge.

The canal will remain open, but boaters should approach with caution and be prepared to stop if requested.

The contractor will be asked to have banksman along the canal when moving the platform from one place to the next.
