Sawley Lock 2 is temporarily out of action and not accessible by customers.
This is due to essential works being carried out on the lock control system. We plan to have the works completed by Monday 4th February.
Lock 1 is now operational after completing the essential works and customers are able to use this to travel along the Navigation.
Please proceed with care and follow any advice from on site personnel.

This is due to essential works being carried out on the lock control system. The works have now been extended, and we plan to have the works completed by Tuesday 29th January.
Lock 2 is still operational and customers are still able to use this so travel along the navigation is possible.
