Woodnook Viaduct Scour Protection Works

We have been advised by the contractor that these works will now commence on 30 January due to a delay in site mobilisation.

CML Marine will be undertaking scour protection works to the railway viaduct. They will be excavating large quantities of bed material around the piers and refilling it in with large rock to the same bed level as existing to ensure scour is prevented in flood conditions.

Boaters and other navigation traffic who may be passing by may be affected for up to 20 minutes to enable any plant or equipment to move out of the channel.

Please follow any signs or advice the contractor will provide. A safety boat will be on site during working hours.
