Inspection railway retaining wall - Todmorden

Network Rail are undertaking an inspection of the retaining wall on the offside of the canal with a combination of roped access technique and pontoon.  Operative will be in the water, but not diving under the water.

Towpath users will be affected at the launch point, whilst the consultants build and floats the pontoon into place.

Can skippers of all craft slow down when approaching the works.  Delays of no more than 30 minutes may be expected whilst the apparatus is moved out of the way.
