Description
As part of the Bridge replacement works, J Murphy & Sons, working on behalf of Network Rail, will be carrying out works overnight to the bridge supports in preparation of installing a new pedestrian deck.
The canal and towpath will be closed overnight. Banksmen/security will be on site to advise on the closure. A signed towpath diversion route will be in place.
We have worked closely with Network Rail to minimise disruption during the bridge deck replacement works. There are a number of separate elements affecting the navigation. Individual notices will be raised for each element, which are as follows:
