Description
Canal & River Trust will be carrying out a sonar survey within Islington Tunnel on 20th November 2018. Unfortunately, in order to obtain the best results, it is not possible to allow boats through the tunnel either during or before the survey.
Therefore, the tunnel will be closed to navigation from midnight of 19 November 2018 until 3pm on 20 November 2018.
This survey is in advance of major repair works planned to the tunnel in winter 2019.
