Regent's Canal, Hampstead Road Lock

Vegetation management works will be undertaken on trees around Hampstead Road Lock between 29 October to 1 November. 

Tree works will begin on Monday 29 October on the north side of the canal, near the Waterbus dock, until the food markets open for business at 10am. Works will then continue on the tree adjacent to Camden High Street.

The towpath from Camden High Street to the dock will be closed,  and a diversion will be routed through the market and back onto the canal west of the Waterbus dock.

On Tuesday 30 October, tree works will continue near the Waterbus dock until 10am, after which works will switch again to the Camden High Street tree in the afternoon. The same towpath diversion will be in place as the day before.

On Wednesday 31 October, tree works will continue near the Waterbus dock, if needed, until 10am. On completion, tree works will begin on Ice Wharf on the south side of the canal adjacent to Wetherspoon’s.

The path will be closed in front of the pub, down the side road and up to Starbucks. Please follow on-site instructions.
