Description
On Saturday 3rd November, Leicester City Council are holding a 'Bonfire Party and Fireworks Display'.
The firework display and bonfire are located immediately adjacent to the canal and for safety reasons the towpath and navigation will be closed.
The restricted area runs from Bridge 6 - Abbey Lane to Bridge 9 - Abbey Park Road.
No boats are to be moored in the restricted area on either the River Soar or the Grand Union. There will be signage regarding the restricted area giving guidance.
Please follow the advice of event organisers who will be stewarding the towpath.
