Contractor is continuing along the stretch of towpath with the upgrade works. Access is still being maintained at all times.
Description
The contractor (Wakefield City Council) is undertaking a towpath upgrade to this section of canal.
Access will be maintained at all times during the works however there might be slight delays of up to 20 minutes for towpath users due to ongoing works and to enable public to pass safely.
Please follow any instructions the contractor may have and be prepared to stop if requested to enable plant to be moved out of the way to enable safe passage through this stretch of the towpath.
