North Yorkshire County Council are undertaking essential repair works to Cawood Swing Bridge. The works are to prevent a major breakdown of the bridge. During these essential repairs the bridge will not be able to swing.
Bridge passage will be possible for any vessels not requiring a swing. For details of available headroom or other bridge information, skippers of all vessels should contact the bridge operator on 01757 269048 before planning passage.
The bridge control centre can also be contacted 24 hours on 01609 536854.
The Trust will monitor progress of the works and update this notice as required.
