Lock 8/9 Bath Deep Lock, St Mathew's Place, Bath

Please be aware that a third party contractor will be installing a low level scaffold tower and hoarding along the towpath end verge to facilitate refurbishment of their canalside property.

The hoarding will encroach slightly onto the towpath but a 2m-width of towpath will be left to allow pedestrians to pass.

The promoter/contractor is responsible for coordinating their works with their neighbours who use the towpath for vehicular access.

The canal navigation is unaffected by the works.
