As a result of local customer feedback and consultation, this stoppage is being moved to January 2019. This is to allow the local trip boat to continue its cruises during the
busy time leading up to Christmas.
The navigation closure is required to carry out repairs to address subsidence issues downstream of Bridge 4, Midland Railway Bridge. A towpath diversion will be in place.
We apologise for any inconvenience the short notice of this change may cause to other users of the navigation in the area.
