Fishponds Weir repairs & water levels

Whilst the works on the weir apron are being carried out, the water level upstream of Fishpond Lock will be maintained at between 150mm and 200mm lower than the weir crest level.  We apologise that this was not communicated sooner.

Contractors are undertaking repairs to Fishpond Weir. The navigation will remain open for navigation during the works but there may be occasional interruptions to enable contractors to mobilise plant and equipment. Any interruptions to navigation will be occasional and will not exceed 1 hour.

Skippers of all craft should approach the lock with caution and follow any instructions given by the contractor or Trust staff.

The works are due to be completed by 17th October or sooner if circumstances permit.
