Footbridge Construction along the Lee Navigation just north of Old Ford Lock.

To protect the public using the towpath adjacent to the construction, hoarding will be erected and the front grass area concreted to provide a temporary towpath with safety fencing on the river’s edge. The grass area will be re-instated after the construction.

A short section of mooring will be suspended for the duration of the works.

Please be advised the navigation will be affected only during the bridge deck installation during the night time closure, which is planned for early next year under the Winter Stoppage Programme.
