Our teams have been working hard to get the water levels back up between locks 19-25 on the Rochdale canal .
The navigation is now back open . We ask that you please bear with us as there will be some levels that are still low and not completely full . The team will be working the weekend to get the water levels back up.

The team are still working on raising the water levels following the act of vandalism. This is taking longer than initially anticipated. However, they have risen significantly.
We look to provide a further update on this stoppage tomorrow. Thank you for your ongoing patience.

Our teams have been working today to recover the water levels but its not be possible to get the levels back to normal. So we will provide a update tomorrow.
Description
The Rochdale canal is currently closed due vandalism,the paddles have been left open resulting in the pounds draining this is between lock 19-25. Our teams are working to get the water levels back up. We will provide a further update later this afternoon.
