Maintenance Work - Sprotbrough towpath footbridge

Due to unforeseen circumstances the repair works to the bridge have been more substantial than originally proposed.

It has therefore been necessary to extend the towpath closure until Friday 7 September.

Further works will be required, however the towpath will be open to the public.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Maintenance work is taking place to Sprotbrough Towpath Bridge.

To ensure public safety we will be closing the towpath through the construction site.  

Diversion signs will be in place.

Please follow the diversion route whilst these works are being carried out.
