Please be aware, as a safety measure to facilitate the repair works at Locks 64, 65 and 66, the whole section between Locks 63 and 67 will be closed to boat traffic. This closure will be in place for the duration of the stoppage period.

We are taking the opportunity during the closures at Locks 64 and 66, Great Bedwyn, to carry out urgent additional arising works at Lock 65.
Works will include:
Lock 64 - Reline top gates, carry out repairs to bottom gates, repair quoin stone and fit new anchor plates.
Lock 65 - Reline top gates, repair bottom gates.
Lock 66 - Reline and refit top gates, fit new anchor stones, repair bottom gates.
Due to the extent of the work now involved across the three locks, it will not be possible to incorporate a navigation window during the closure. We do apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
Description
Reline top and bottom gates and repairs to be made to copings. Replacement of missing bricks and quoin stone.
