After much deliberation we have decided the Third Party works at Church Bridge will now be carried out in November as originally planned. This will allow the Walsall Canal to be used as an easy diversion route during the emergency navigation closure at Teeces Bridge. and allow the rest of the Wyrley and Essington Canal to remain open.
We apologise for the confusion but feel this will be the best solution for all.
Description
Third Party contractors, Bagnalls, will be carrying out works to this pipe bridge on behalf of Cadent Gas. This will require the installation of scaffolding which will necessitate closure of the navigation.
