The construction of new stop grooves at Bridge 130B and inspection of the grooves at Sandholme Aqueduct are complete. However, please be aware the navigation in this area is still closed due to the on-going works between Bridge 130B Manchester Road Bridge and Bridge 130E Finsley Gate Bridge. Please see the separate notice relating to this stoppage. The navigation is due to be re-opened on 23rd May.
07/03/2019 @ 13:25

Due to the extension of the stoppage at Finsley Gate (please see separate notice), the closure at Bridge 130B and Sandholme Aqueduct, which is in the same area, also needs to be extended to reflect this stoppage period.  The end date has therefore been amended.

It is expected the navigation in this area will re-open on 8th May 2019.
