Description
EU Networks will be undertaking excavation works to install new telecommunication cables along the canal tow path.
As a result of the works, tow path access will be restricted. A pedestrian diversion around the works will be in place via 50m long floating pontoons located in the canal. The floating pontoon will be progressively moved as the works are undertaken for an anticipated duration of 3 months. Banksmen will be on hand to assist pedestrians along the pontoon. Cyclists will be required to dismount when navigating along the pontoon.
The canal navigation shall remain open throughout the works. Moorings will be suspended on a rolling programme to facilitate the siting of the pontoon. Please observe local signage.
