AMENDMENT
The Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath between Silsden Road Bridge (Bridge 191A) and Lodge Hill Bridge (Bridge 194) will be closed for 14 weeks whilst we complete an extensive programme of towpath upgrade works. The works, which have been funded by the Dept. for Transport’s Cycling City Ambition Grant funding and delivered in partnership with West Yorkshire Combined Authority, will improve 2.7 km of towpath with a Centrack (bound granular) surface and the teams will also reinstate a number of historic mileposts.
Works commence on site on 9 April 2018 and an alternative route will be available for the duration of the works via Hainsworth Road and Low Lane. Please follow any instructions given by Canal & River Trust representatives or on site signage.
