Between Gees Lock and Bush Lock

We will be lowering the water level for a few hours between Bush Lock and Dunns Lock to allow contractors access to a boat that needs to be lifted. Reducing the water level in this pound requires the water to be sent downstream and so we also first need to lower the water levels between Dunns Lock and Gees Lock to accommodate this increase in water.

The works to raise the boat should take a couple of hours, but the water management to achieve this will take a couple of hours either side of this, to lower and raise the water level, hence we estimate passage will be disrupted for around 6 hours.

Our staff will be on site and will be able to advise on the water levels available and so in some circumstances passage may be possible.
