Rochdale Canal - Lock 66

Please note that resin grout injection works to seal leaks at Lock 66 on the Rochdale Canal will be ongoing from 6th November – 1st December 2017, during normal weekday working hours. The works will be carried out by Kier, on behalf of Canal & River Trust.  

Boats will still be allowed to pass through the lock, under the guidance of the site operatives. Please can we ask that Customers pass through with care, and confirm with the site staff that it is safe to travel through, before attempting to do so. There may be a short delay of up to 30 minutes, whilst the operatives move their equipment from the lock chamber – thank you for your patience.
