Description
Vital works are being undertaken at Hirst Lock because of worsening leakage through the gates which is causing significant issues for boaters. Both sets of gates will be adjusted and have repairs to paddles, mitres, cills and planks.
The lock will re-open for one day on Saturday 21 October (9am-4pm) to allow boaters through the lock and our staff will be on site all day to assist.
