Grand Union Canal - Lock 98 (Hanwell Flight)

Lock gates at Lock 98 (Osterley Lock, Hanwell Flight, Grand Union) are to be repaired to make the gates watertight.

There will be a restriction of the navigation and possible hold up due to lowering of water levels.  Owing to water loss, repairs are essential to seal the faces of the lock gates.

Works will be attempted around the tidal traffic but this may not always be possible.  Work will commence between the hours of 7am and 3pm and work will not continue through the weekend.
