Description
Contractors are carrying out construction works alongside the canal. The access steps from the east side of Midgley Road are closed, but access is available on the other side of the bridge. Hoardings have been erected along the towpath but the towpath remains open.
The contractor will use banksmen during any operations close to the canal and will stop work to allow boats and other canal users to pass.
