Description
Access to the towpath side of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal will be restricted between Morton Swing Bridge (no. 198a) and Swine Lane Bridge (no. 198) whilst contractors complete piling works to the banking.
A work boat and piling plant will be working at various locations along the length. Please do not moor along the section of towpath between Morton Swing Bridge and Swine Lane Bridge for the affected period.
We also ask that boaters approach and navigate the area with care and pass slowly. Please follow the instructions given by any Canal & River Trust representatives on site.
