Please be advised that planned towpath works between Sellars and Parkend bridges have been reviewed and the repair works will now be carried out without towpath restrictions.

Description
The towpath beside the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal will be closed between Sellars Bridge and Parkend Bridge on the above dates, so that Canal & River Trust can safely undertake essential repair works to around 800m of the path.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused but are confident that the improvement will benefit all users of the towpath, once complete.
