The restriction on the East Side of the Anderton Boat Lift has been lifted and is now operational again.

We are still operating with restrictions as the East side of the lift is not available. There will be a further update on Tuesday 27th June at 12:00 pm

We are still awaiting the delivery of the Gearbox for the East Aqueduct Gates, however the Lift is still working in isolation. A further update will be given on Friday 23rd June 2017.
Description
We currently have restricted availability on the Anderton Boat Lift because of a problem with a gearbox on the East Side of the lift. Technicians are currently awaiting delivery of a new part which will be fitted on arrival and a further update to this notice will be posted on Tuesday 20th June.
