The recent severe weather conditions have caused a hold-up in completing the wet abutment repair works at Dansons Bridge 30.
We are pleased to confirm the navigation will be re-opened, as planned, from Sunday 11th March.
However, due to delays in de-mobilising closures elsewhere, it is necessary for the towpath at Bridge 30 to remain closed until Wednesday 14th March. A diversion is in place.
Description
To carry out repairs below water level to the wet abutment.
These works are now confirmed. Dates have been amended to tie in with the closure at Grindley Brook Lock.
A towpath diversion will be available.
