As part of the works at Seend Locks 17 to 21, the top and bottom gates at Lock 18 will be replaced.
Description
To carry out repairs as follows:
Lock 17: Repairs to the gates to reduce leakage. Replace rotten balance beams and repair damaged brickwork to the downstream forebay.
Lock 18: Repairs to the top gate to reduce leakage. Repairs to the quoins and forebay.
Lock 19: Repairs to the top gate to reduce leakage and brick and stonework repairs to the lock chamber.
Lock 21: Repairs to the lock to reduce leakage through the forebay.
