This closure will be extended for one week to
complete on the 8th December. This is to ensure the team
deliver all of the essential repair works required.
The start date remains the same.
Description
To undertake repairs as follows:
Lock 45: Brickwork repointing and repairs to the lock chamber to reduce leakage.
Lock 41: Repairs to the lock cill to reduce leakage.
Lock 37: Repairs to the bottom gates to reduce leakage.
The dates have been changed to enable more efficient programming of the delivery teams across all the Kennet & Avon works.
