The repair work to the top and bottom gates at Lock 23 East has been completed. However, the severe weather conditions have resulted in an unavoidable delay in removing the scaffolding from site.
We expect the site to be cleared during Wednesday 7th March and the canal will be re-open to navigation as soon as this is complete.
