The start date on these works has been slightly delayed due to contractor availability. They are now due on site to start work on the 27th April and finish on the 23rd June
Description
Following the flood damage to this area of the Calder & Hebble navigation in December 2015, works are being undertaken to reinstate the canal boundary wall, part of the canal wash wall and repair the canal overflow weir at Ganny.
During these works there will be floating construction craft that will be used to access the site. This may mean at points there may be short delays to navigation while plant is moving around.
The towpath will also be closed for the duration of the works. This will be closed between Bridge 6 Brookfoot Footbridge and Bridge 7 Ganny Footbridge.
Access around the site will be via Elland Road from these two location. Diversion route signs will be displayed.
